About us
Indian Pastoralism and Rangelands Lab is an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to advancing critical research on socio-ecological systems (SES), with particular attention to rangelands, pastoralism, and multispecies relations.
We examine how mobility, labour, governance, and climate change intersect to shape landscapes, livelihoods, and knowledge systems across diverse pastoral regions of India. Through rigorous research, collaborative engagement, and public dissemination, we generate insights that inform policy, strengthen ecological resilience, and support just and sustainable futures.
